Multidimensional poverty index: a multilevel analysis of deprivation among Iranian older adults

Abstract Although the older adult population faces a higher risk of poverty compared to others, there is no clear picture their in Iran. The aim this study was measure multidimensional and its related factors among Iranian adults. This cross-sectional conducted from July November 2019 collected data by interviewing 1,280 participants Tehran, To compute poverty, four dimensions were used: health (disabilities), education, housing standard living. Single joint distribution deprivation calculated. Multilevel logistic regression models used determine relationship between predictor variables outcome (multidimensional poverty).
